Rental FAQ's

How is the price of my rental determined?

Reel Mountain rental prices are determined based upon theater and/or film availability,
purpose of event, time of week and year, and expected attendance. The price quoted is
specific to your request.

When do I need to pay?

We accept checks, cash and money orders as forms of payment.  We are not able to
accept Purchase Orders or to issue invoices for payment. Consider your Signed Rental
Agreement as your contract and payment invoice, due prior to the conclusion of the event.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to hold the date, with the balance due at the
conclusion of the event, at which time the manager will advise of any additional cleaning
charges if this applies.

What movie can we see?

First run (new) 35mm film selection is limited to current movies showing at Reel Mountain. Movies
are subject to change based on release dates and availability. Film selection is not guaranteed
until the Monday prior to your event. Some films may be exempt from the rental process due
to studio restrictions or availability. If your event is private, you may bring your own movie,
on DVD or VHS to view on our big screen.

Can we see an older 35mm movie that is no longer in theatres?

Yes. For an additional fee, older movies may be requested and can be reserved based
upon availability of the print. Booking a 35mm print requires adequate advance notice.

Can I set-up my rental for anytime I want?

Yes. However, the quote that we provide will be affected by the time and day of the week,
and if your request necessitates that we close to the public, the fee will be higher. We
encourage you to schedule your event during times we are not open to the public to save money!

What if I need to cancel my rental?

If you cancel your rental in writing 7 days in advance, we can apply to the deposit to another rental.
If you cancel with less than 7 days notice, or fail to show, you forfeit the deposit.

What is included in the price of my rental?

This will be specified in your rental agreement, but generally includes the use of an auditorium,
presentation of one film, and use of the space in our lobby for the time of your event. Additional AV
equipment, wireless microphones and concessions may be included for a nominal cost. Concession
packages are available as well for your attendees.
