The word is......?
If you've been in lately you may have been among the few observant regulars that said- what's that open space above the candy counter for? Great question. We know what it's for, but not what letters it will include exactly. It is an open space for a sign above the candy counter.
That little piece is my responsibility and I'm having trouble finalizing it. Like the cobblers kids having no shoes, or the housekeeper living in a disheveled home, I (the signmaker of 15 years) have no sign finalized for this conspicuous space.
I know how I will make them- 1.5" thick, stand off .5" from the background, V-grooved face, illuminated background- but WHAT will it say?
This is where you come in.
You're limited to about 6-7 characters at most (less may be better), and it has to have something to do with our theater, or movies, or Estes Park... our original concept calls for 3-4 different words that will remain for several weeks at a time, and change seasonally or something like that.
If you suggest the winning set of letters, that forms a pertinent title, or related word, we'll give you a neat prize- say movies and snacks for you and a date? (in addition to the pride and fame)
I'll bet of the over 500 readers of this newsletter, a few of you have the winning word/s? Prizes for our favorite 3 entries- and if 10 people send the same idea in, the first one in, wins. What will be our favorite? If I knew, I wouldn't make this public. plea... Cute, funny, concise, dramatic, mouth watering- we need help.
Hit 'reply' with your entry, and we'll publish the winning words in next weeks newsletter, as well as fabricate them to appear before thousands of Reel Fans in our new sign.
i.e.: MOVIES, SNACKS, FRESH!, etc etc <-- already have 'em.
