Nothing happened at the theater this week...

Or, at least I didn't witness it. You see, for the last 2 weeks I've been staying up until 130am, working feverishly to get everything to a point of being able to leave for 9 days... Ads in place, films booked, bills paid, work schedule posted, concession stocked up, etc etc. You know the way it goes before you take a vacation and after you return? I think we do about 6 weeks worth of work to leave for one!

Nonetheless, we have been on the road in a 23' RV since Sunday taking part in life- which usually produces some customer service experiences that will challenge us to be better when it's our turn to serve customers. I'm pretty sure that our staff gets nervous when I am anywhere but Estes Park, because I regularly pick a few things up that we implement or at least test out.... and you just never know what it's gonna be.

Take that time I couldn't find a place to air up my tire between Denver and Estes Park, and everywhere I stopped , every person at a service station was downright rude! Memo to staff that evening: Be HELPFUL toward customers. Or the time the clerk in the electronics department of a famous store that was 'helping me' never even looked at me- but enjoyed a conversation with their coworker! Memo to staff: no personal conversations when customers are present.

So I'd say they're improvements, but I'd be a little anxious if I worked for me at the theater come next week.
