It's true. We may not be breaking sales records, or seeing fist fights over parking spots.. but we are getting the chance to reconnect with everyone that has a reel fan card. Summer: every 10th person has the card, now- almost everyone. Which means our favorite people are all around us as we roll into the Oscars, Tuesday Movie Club, MidWeek matinees, etc etc.

Last night, a man asked when his small soda would become a large soda on his Reel Fan reward account. This question begs an answer to the group.

Rewards that you earn are placed on your account and stay there until you use them. They don't grow or multiply, and you can't trade a small soda and a family popcorn for a pickle and a cotton candy... Rewards remain available until you use them without substitution. You will continue to earn rewards at the same pace no matter what you redeem, or leave on your account.

A couple of weeks ago I helped a family that was saving it all up! They had several free tickets, a couple of popcorns and several drinks waiting to be used. They were good customers- and it would pay off when they came in to redeem the motherlode with a free night for their whole family at Reel Mountain.

So the rewards are what you make of them, and you don't have to do anything except accept, or decline (and save for later) your rewards when we tell you what you have at the point of sale.
