Thanks to our loyal customers

A quick thanks to those of you that came in last Sunday the 5th. Without exaggerating, over 75% of the customers that came in on Sunday were familiar local faces. As the summer rolls along we get accustomed to meeting new people and trying to move efficiently through large crowds descending on us at once. It can run the risk of becoming impersonal, although we try so hard to keep it friendly. Despite the life saving income that the summer yields, a longing creeps in for a slow winter day when we know every face and can have an extended conversation... Sunday was like that, the familiar faces that is. Every other person was someone we knew well and it was refreshing!

It was as if someone had decreed that our local friends take the day off to catch a movie, and they complied.

Thanks for coming in, we hope you enjoyed the break from your hectic summer schedule as much as we enjoyed seeing you.

Calling the theater 'work' is a stretch sometimes- there's work to be done, but it's always so enjoyable to host people coming in to take a break. When they're friends we already know, it makes the work even easier.
