Summer movie tips

Here's a couple of inside tips for those of you coming in to catch a blockbuster, when a lot of others are, too.

If the lot is full, park West of the Bank of Colorado in the upper lot, which will put you at the top of an easy stairway coming in- and leaving. Lets you get away quick when the theater lot is gridlocked.

If there's a show you know you want to come to, buy your tickets ahead of time in person at the theater (up to a week ahead of time). Then, arrive 30 minutes before the show starts and plan to hang out as the line forms. You'll avoid the worry of getting in, and get to control where you sit.

The concession line is always a little daunting before the show starts. As you know, the lights stay up until the last trailer starts- which is your 3 minute warning! When you arrive, head into the auditorium and select seats, then make concession purchases in the first 10 minutes of the movie. The line will dwindle quickly once the show time passes, and you'll be back to your seat in no time. There is one con: you miss 3-4 minutes of movie. Pro: you don't stand in line.

Departing the theater is easier when there's a big crowd when you leave through the exit doors. #1 emerges above Village Pizza, #2 & 3 emerge next to the Chiropractor along the North driveway... Plan ahead where you park by where you'll emerge!

Not sure if you want to deal with crowds? Call the manager directly and ask how the crowd size is shaping up. We carrying the phone and can answer that question, or sell you tickets by phone if you're away from the computer. There is a .50 charge per ticket for phone or internet purchase- but it's probably worth it if you're cutting it close and want those seats!

Use your Reel Fan Reward Card! If you present it every time you buy tickets or snacks- and take the rewards when they're available, you'll have saved 10%.

Make your suggestions and there's a great chance you'll see them in action if they are as good as you think they are. If you don't mention your idea, you're guaranteed that it won't happen- but say something and there's a chance.
